Recently, the China Quality Association officially announced the results of the 2025 Quality and Technology Award selection. The project "Extreme Calibration Quality Control Technology and Application of Ultra Deep Complex Oil and Gas Well Tail Pipe Cementing Device" applied by Continental Shelf Company stood out among 1716 applied projects and successfully won the first prize. This award is one of the highest honors in the field of quality and technology in China, with only 6 first prizes awarded nationwide this year. The "extreme calibration" quality control technology, innovative integration of quality management system risk thinking, PDCA cycle management concept, integration of QFD quality function deployment, TRIZ innovation theory, DFMEA risk management and other advanced quality technology methods, covers the full process quality control of "design production field application", promotes technological breakthroughs in key indicators such as bearing capacity, pressure resistance, sealing, high temperature resistance, and cycling ability of the tail pipe cementing equipment, solves the industry problem of complex tail pipe cementing under extreme working conditions, and breaks the "bottleneck" technology monopoly of foreign companies in China's deep geological energy exploration and development field. Up to now, the technical products have been popularized and applied in 16 domestic oilfields and more than 20 overseas countries, focusing on supporting large-scale development in key areas of ultra deep oil and gas development, such as the Tarim Basin and Sichuan Basin, and successfully guaranteeing cementing operations of several domestic 10000 meter deep wells, which have been highly recognized by domestic and foreign oilfield customers.
