Consolidate industry consensus and plan development blueprint - "2025 Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Situation Seminar and Association Council (Expanded) Meeting" held in Jinan

On November 27th, the "2025 Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Situation Seminar and Association Council (Expanded) Meeting" was held grandly at the Nanjiao Hotel in Jinan. More than 400 experts from relevant national departments, senior leaders from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, equipment manufacturing associations from provinces and cities, as well as directors and representatives from member units across the province, and mainstream media journalists from both national and provincial levels attended the meeting to assess future industry development trends and explore new paths for development. The meeting was chaired by Zhao Juntang, Vice President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and President of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association.

In his speech, Jing Shikuan, former deputy director and first level inspector of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province, fully affirmed the achievements of our province in high-end equipment, digitalization, and green development. He pointed out that development bottlenecks such as dependence on imported core components and insufficient coordination of industrial clusters still exist. He proposed to focus on advantageous tracks and promote key work in multiple aspects. He earnestly hoped that the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association would serve as a bridge and link for communication between government and enterprises, act as a good policy "translator", a good enterprise "waiter", and an industry "spokesperson".

The conference listened to and approved the annual work report of Gao Ling, President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. The report points out that by 2025, the equipment manufacturing industry in the province will achieve steady growth, with significant characteristics of high-end, intelligent, and green industries. The report reviewed the achievements of the association in key areas such as leading industry technological innovation, talent cultivation, domestic and international industry docking, cross regional industrial collaboration, and team building in 2025; The report points out that the association will focus on five directions: "high-end leadership, digital empowerment, green transformation, regional collaboration, and deepening open cooperation" to continuously empower the construction of an advanced manufacturing province, in response to the challenges faced by global supply chain restructuring, digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, and optimization of industrial structure.

A major highlight of this seminar was the forward-looking reports presented by several top experts, presenting a feast of ideas for the attendees. In his report "The International Situation Faced by Chinese Enterprises in Overseas Investment and How to Avoid Overseas Investment Risks", Li Zhanjun, a Ph.D. in International Politics from Peking University, analyzed the complex international environment and supply chain shortcomings faced by Chinese enterprises going abroad. He pointed out the main risks and common operational errors such as tariffs and standard barriers, and proposed the need to establish international thinking, reconstruct supply chains, and create standards and brands to help enterprises upgrade their overseas investment strategies; Nie Linhai, former inspector of the E-commerce Department of the Ministry of Commerce, presented a report titled "Report on the Expansion of E-commerce in Equipment Manufacturing Enterprises", emphasizing that cross-border e-commerce is a new engine for high-quality development of foreign trade, analyzing the current situation and trends of cross-border e-commerce in the equipment manufacturing industry, introducing relevant support policies of the Ministry of Commerce, and proposing six suggestions for Shandong equipment manufacturing enterprises to go global, including data-driven and digital transformation; Chen Hongjun, former deputy director of the National Standardization Administration and former deputy director of the Standards and Technology Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, systematically elaborated on the development outline of national standardization in the theme report "Standards help internationalize the equipment manufacturing industry". With practical cases as evidence, he explained in detail the principles, classifications, and procedures of international standard formulation, analyzed the role and impact of technical standards in international trade, and focused on the characteristics, system, and development strategies of high-end equipment manufacturing standardization; Liu Chengyong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Shifeng Group, presented the theme of "Towards a Zero Carbon Future - The High Quality Transformation Path of Shifeng Group in the New Era", showcasing Shifeng Group's transformation driven by green manufacturing and new quality productivity, covering diversified energy matrix, chemical fiber industry upgrading, green equipment research and development, and introducing its achievements in integrating into the global industrial chain, carrying out full industry chain cooperation, and exploring international markets, expressing the vision of building an industrial symbiotic ecology.

In the special promotion session, Gong Weiwei, deputy chief of the people's Government of Yijinhuoluo Banner in Inner Mongolia, introduced Yiqi's rich mineral resources, unique geographical advantages, good business environment and huge space for coordinated development with Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry. Liu Zhi, general manager of Shandong Fengrui Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., entitled "Building a New Power System to Create a New Ecology of Source Network and Storage, analyze the profound changes of" source, network, load and storage "and introduce the cornerstone of the power supply end of the new format-Longji BC peak work Hi-MOX10 component and Longji scenario product matrix; Yang Lei, Director and General Manager of Shandong Hengyuan Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., explained in detail the development path of AI-assisted equipment manufacturing in the theme promotion of" AI Reconfiguration Equipment Manufacturing-Reflections on the Integration and Development of AI Technology Trends and Equipment Manufacturing, propose solutions for AI and practicing enterprise intelligence; Li Cheng, general manager of Jinan Zhongguancun Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., released the theme promotion of "Building Industrial Ecosystem, Gathering Enterprises and Creating Future". Major enterprises are welcome to communicate and cooperate with projects around Zhongguancun Information Valley in the process of site selection and docking resources.
