Combination driving assistance system will meet national standards
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicly solicited opinions on the mandatory national standard for "Safety Requirements for Intelligent Connected Vehicle Combination Driving Assistance Systems", which sets comprehensive safety technical requirements for basic single lane, basic multi lane, navigation combination driving assistance systems, etc. This standard will fill the safety baseline gap of China's combined driving assistance system products, providing key technical basis for industry access, quality supervision, and post traceability.
In the first seven months of this year, the sales of new passenger cars with combined driving assistance systems in China reached 7.7599 million units, a year-on-year increase of 21.31%, with a penetration rate of 62.58%, an increase of 6.5 percentage points from the previous year. This standard constructs security measures from three dimensions: "enhancing product capability performance," "strengthening security requirements," and "regulating system usage.
