On November 22nd, the "Assistance and Comfort Theme Party Day Activity" hosted by the Party Committee of the Shandong Provincial Social Organization Association of the Communist Party of China and organized by the Party Branch of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association of the Communist Party of China was held at Rukang Jiayuan, Dikou Road Street, Tianqiao District, Jinan City. During the discussion and exchange, the leaders of the party organizations of various associations unanimously agreed that the whole society should raise awareness and understanding of people with disabilities, eliminate discrimination and prejudice against people with disabilities, and create a fair, just, and harmonious social environment. Social organizations should shoulder their social responsibilities and promote the protection and development of the rights and interests of people with disabilities. This "Party Day Activity on Assisting and Comforting for the Disabled" is of great significance for promoting the progress and development of a harmonious society by holding hands with Rukang Home and showing love for people with disabilities.
Participants visited four parts of Rukang Homeland: cultural home, red home, practice home and life home, and observed core functional rooms such as training room, Internet employment room, handicraft room and day care room. I appreciate the entrepreneurship and employment model of Rukang Home for disabled people, as I see them engaged in various tasks such as handicraft sewing and embroidery, PE flower making, coil processing, and outbound telephone services in an orderly manner.
Fu Yutao introduced that Changshang Group is a disability assistance service enterprise headquartered in Beijing, integrating training, employment, rehabilitation, care and other fields for people with disabilities. Adhering to the core mission of "changing the lifestyle of people with disabilities in China" and the business philosophy of "commercial assistance for public welfare", it has developed various forms of disability employment and entrepreneurship platforms around the core goal of "providing good services for people with disabilities", creating a disability service system. Rukang Home in Dikou Road Street is provided by the street, and Changshang Group is transformed and independently operated to absorb disabled people over 16 years old with work needs and certain labor abilities in Dikou Road Street for employment. Fu Yutao pointed out that there are currently 5.7 million disabled people in our province, including 2.6 million certified disabled people, of which 1.07 million are in the working age group. The state implements a proportional employment system for people with disabilities. Enterprises and institutions that do not reach a disability placement ratio of 1.5% of their workforce are required to pay a disability employment security fund. As usual, the Group provides "four provinces, one release, and two assistance" services to enterprises based on the difficulties in recruiting disabled people: that is, through labor dispatch, implementing the "proportional absorption of employment indicators by enterprises+centralized employment in Kangjiayuan", providing labor-saving, time-saving, worry free, and cost-effective services, helping enterprises and institutions solve the employment problems of disabled people, helping disabled people increase their income, and reducing the burden on disabled people's families.

In his concluding speech, Zhou Tianzeng pointed out that everyone actively participated in the "Party Day Activity of Helping and Comforting the Disabled", reflecting the care and mission of various social organizations for the vulnerable group of people with disabilities. This event has three meanings, namely "helping disabled people and benefiting enterprises": firstly, benefiting disabled people. In addition to providing warmth to disabled people, the signing of the cooperation agreement on disability assistance by the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Association will benefit more disabled people; The second benefit is for enterprises. Adopting the Rukang Home model to accommodate more disabled people for employment will enable enterprises to achieve economies of scale; The third benefit is for social organizations. By bridging the gap between enterprises, expanding service scope, and innovating service forms, the mission and responsibility of social organizations will be strengthened, and their credibility and reputation will be enhanced.
