Beijing, August 8th (Xinhua) -- Recently, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Central Leading Group for "Remembering the Original Aspiration and Keeping in Mind the Mission" issued a notice on the first batch of theme education units holding a special democratic life meeting on "Remembering the Original Aspiration and Keeping in Mind the Mission", requiring all regions, departments, and units to hold a special democratic life meeting on "Remembering the Original Aspiration and Keeping in Mind the Mission", promoting party members and leading cadres to further enhance their "four consciousnesses", strengthen their "four confidences", and achieve "two safeguards", promoting the leadership team to fulfill their duties and responsibilities, unite and forge ahead, keeping in mind their original aspiration and mission, reorganizing their equipment and starting again, and pushing the party's self revolution.
The notice points out that holding a special democratic life meeting should be regarded as a political examination for the leadership team and party members and leading cadres to uphold their original aspirations, shoulder their missions, identify gaps, and implement them. It should be an important part of testing the effectiveness of the theme education. We should make full use of the achievements of theme education, closely follow the main line of studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, focus on the theme of not forgetting our original intention and keeping our mission in mind, highlight the important content of avoiding formalism and bureaucracy, and set an example for theoretical learning, ideological and political baptism, entrepreneurship and responsibility, serving the people and solving problems, and being honest and upright. In accordance with General Secretary Xi Jinping's requirements of "four comparisons" and "four searches", we should take stock of the gains, examine the problems, and deeply analyze them. The democratic life meeting should adhere to truth, correct errors, carry out criticism and self-criticism seriously, and implement rectification with the spirit of nailing down nails to ensure that the special democratic life meeting opens up a high-quality new atmosphere.
