他介绍了我省进年来在工业方面取得的成就，全省工业以供给侧结构性改革为主线，不断加快新旧动能转换，以“四新”促“四化”实现“四提”，推动产业转型升级、提质增效，向高质量发展，取得了显著成效，产业规模不断扩大，质量效益不断提升，工业主营业务收入稳居全国第二，形成了山东优势。

他讲到，装备制造业是国民经济的战略性、基础性产业，是工业的重要组成部分，是经济转型升级的重要引擎。近年来，在大家的共同努力下，立足With a global perspective, international standards, and Shandong's advantages, we adhere to innovative development, strengthen traditional advantageous industries, and strive to cultivate new growth points. 同时，他对山东省装备制造业协会的工作表示肯定，他表示，省装备制造业协会成立以来，汇集了全省装备行业众多骨干企业，与政府建立了良好的沟通协作机制，积极开展工作，不断发挥横向、纵向协调能力和组织优势，链接产业上中下游，引导创新、资源集聚和搭建平台；不断开展省际间、国际间的交流与合作，受到了广大企业的肯定和支持，为我省装备制造业发展发挥了积极作用，逐步成为政府与企业的桥梁和纽带。

此外，他对装备制造业协会提出几点希望和要求：一是发挥好政府的参谋助手作用。二是推动全省装备制造业自律、健康发展。三是发挥好推动行业资源优化配置作用。四是推动我省装备制造业“引进来”和“走出去”。

会上，山东省装备制造业协会会长高玲回顾了2017年的主要工作，主要有：初步建立协会组织机构和工作机制；开展走访调研和加强交流合作；推进市级协会建设；建立专家服务平台；承办政府委托的重点活动，Undertaking了“新旧动能转换——挑战与应对”山东论坛，组团参加省商务厅举办山东省——下萨克森州经贸交流会。组团参加省经信委举办第23届鲁台经贸洽谈会。此外，高会长还汇报了2018年的工作计划。

本次论坛到会嘉宾，中国机械工业联合会于清笈执行副会长，国务院发展研究中心国际技术经济研究所学术委员会宫晨光副主任，中科智慧工场网络科技有限公司李晓平董事长，西门子（中国）有限公司工业集团华北大区数字化业务孙卫东总监，山东镭鸣数控激光装备有限公司李峰西董事长等也做了精彩发言。
