Binzhou High end Equipment Industrial Park Entrepreneur Symposium

As a national level economic and technological development zone, Binzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone relies on the foundation of traditional manufacturing industry, focuses on four leading industries: "high-end equipment, new energy and new materials, new generation information technology, and modern service industry", and constructs a development pattern of "park clustering, industrial chain, and service specialization". At present, seven characteristic parks including the Yellow River Science and Technology Industrial Park and the Yellow River High end Equipment Industrial Park have been formed in the district, gathering more than 50 equipment manufacturing enterprises such as Lude crankshaft and Hainachuan lightweight. In 2024, the output value of the equipment manufacturing industry in the entire region will exceed 8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%, becoming an important pivot for high-end equipment manufacturing in the Yellow River Basin.

Su Hongxing and his delegation visited five representative enterprises in the development zone, including Lude crankshaft, Hainachuan, Hongwen automobile, Zhongshun internal combustion engine, and Zhongke composite materials. They conducted in-depth inspections of the intelligent digital transformation and green manufacturing process application in the production workshops. At the Rude crankshaft workshop, the company leader stated that the production line requires deeper digital transformation and hopes to connect with a group of high-quality digital service providers who can provide data analysis through the association. Zhongke Composite Materials reflects the insufficient expansion of the application scenarios of new composite materials in the equipment field. In response to the problems and needs raised by enterprises, the association provides timely feedback to enterprises on positive solutions through resource matching and in-depth analysis by industry experts.

At the symposium for entrepreneurs in the high-end equipment industry park, Su Hongxing systematically expounded his views on the coordinated development of the industrial chain, focusing on core content such as industry trend analysis, industrial policies, and the construction of association service systems. It is pointed out that the equipment manufacturing industry, as the "ballast stone" of Shandong's industrial economy, will exceed 2.8 trillion yuan in the province's industrial scale by 2024, accounting for 9.2% of the national total. Binzhou Economic Development Zone has gathered a large number of high-quality equipment manufacturing enterprises in the high-end aluminum deep processing and automotive parts industry chain, and its industrial agglomeration and innovation activity are deeply complementary to the "ten thousand enterprises advancing together" resource pool of the association. There are important points of convergence between the two sides in areas such as technological research, market expansion, and standard setting. It indicates that the competition in the equipment manufacturing industry has shifted from single enterprise competition to industrial chain ecological competition in the future. Binzhou Economic Development Zone is located in the overlapping area of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei Economic Circle and the Bohai Rim Economic Circle. It is an important node for Shandong to connect with the northern channel of the "the Belt and Road". It needs to further strengthen the cultivation of "chain owner" enterprises, encourage and support the chain owner enterprises in the zone and other enterprises on the industrial chain led by leading enterprises to jointly develop group standards, and respond to domestic and international market competition with the industrial chain ecology. Enterprises should actively participate in the development of the international market along the the Belt and Road to demonstrate the core competitiveness of Shandong manufacturing. He emphasized that innovation is the lifeline of the equipment manufacturing industry, and that the government, associations, and enterprises should work together to help enterprises build a full chain innovation ecosystem of "product innovation breaking through technological bottlenecks, management innovation improving operational efficiency, and market innovation expanding growth space", and assist enterprises and industries in high-quality development.

Wang Zhen, Deputy Director of the Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, emphasized in his concluding speech that the platform resources of the association are highly compatible with the industrial needs of Binzhou. He hopes to carry out joint construction activities through "resource sharing+mechanism innovation" on a regular basis, and leverage the resources of member enterprises, expert committees, standardization work committees, digitalization work committees and other industry resources of the association platform to enable Binzhou equipment manufacturing enterprises to achieve new leaps in technology research, market development, management upgrading and other aspects, and promote the competitiveness of industrial clusters to a new level.
