On August 15th, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology of Binzhou City and the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association jointly held the "Binzhou Equipment Manufacturing Industry Science and Technology Innovation Sharing and Exchange Conference" in the Binzhou High tech Zone, exchanging and discussing topics such as "improving the system and mechanism for developing new quality productive forces according to local conditions" and "improving the system for promoting the deep integration of the real economy and the digital economy". President Gao Ling delivered an important speech on "Leading the high-quality development of industry enterprises with technological innovation and standardization construction", stating that she will work together with the industrial and information technology departments of Binzhou City and the vast number of enterprises to vigorously develop new quality productivity and create a highland of technological innovation in the equipment manufacturing industry; Su Hongxing interpreted the key service work of the association around the theme of "Chain Resources · Strong Service"; Xu Shiping put forward requirements for the newly established Binzhou Office to play a good role as a bridge and link, strengthen guarantee services, and promote the upgrading of industrial level.

Wang Zhen introduced the development of Binzhou's equipment industry from several aspects, including "continuous operation of industrial economy leading the province", "continuous release of technological innovation momentum", "continuous strengthening of core research and development capabilities", "continuous improvement of intelligent manufacturing level", and "accelerated construction of external cooperation platforms".

Officials from the high-tech zone, Zouping city, Boxing county and other relevant departments of industry and information technology respectively explained the development of the equipment manufacturing industry in their respective districts and counties, introducing their experiences and practices in policy support, industrial cluster (park) and enterprise qualification construction, strengthening the position of enterprise innovation subject, and fully leveraging regional industrial advantages; Excellent enterprises such as Kaitai Group, Jingbo Equipment, and Onar Refrigeration shared typical cases in areas such as technological innovation, digital transformation and upgrading, chain integration and consolidation, and market expansion.

Binzhou City has a large number of new products in the equipment manufacturing industry with high technological content, such as wind power equipment, complete sets of meat processing equipment, high-power internal combustion engine pistons, large building molds, etc. In recent years, the development of the cluster has laid a solid foundation, continuously accelerated the integration of data and reality, innovated policies that benefit and assist enterprises, optimized and improved the development environment, and high-quality enterprises have grown rapidly. A small incident made us feel the vitality and vigor of the development of Binzhou's equipment manufacturing industry. According to the arrangement of the leaders of Binzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, when the participants went to visit Binzhou Jinyi Equipment Co., Ltd., they were surprised to find that the first domestically developed diesel locomotive (No. 3001), which was proudly "retired" a few years ago, was displayed in the company's campus. This was purchased by General Manager Wang Xuejun at great expense to motivate the enterprise and employees to be the "locomotive" of the times and the industry!

The successful holding of this event and the establishment of the Binzhou Office of the Provincial Association will effectively promote the large-scale equipment renewal and integrated chain development of the equipment manufacturing industry in Binzhou City, enhance new development momentum, create a high-tech innovation highland for the equipment manufacturing industry in Binzhou City, and help the high-quality development of industry enterprises in the province.
