Production status of main agricultural machinery and equipment products from January to August 2018

According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, in August 2018, the production of large tractors, medium tractors, small tractors, and harvesting machinery in China was 4106 units, 18600 units, 35000 units, and 53100 units, respectively. Among them, the production of large tractors, medium tractors, and small tractors decreased by 44%, 6.9%, and 30% year-on-year, while the production of harvesting machinery increased by 22.3% year-on-year. From January to August, a total of 29200, 168300, and 317000 large, medium, and small tractors were produced, a year-on-year decrease of 25.8%, 7.8%, and 30.8%, respectively. Harvesting machinery produced a total of 341300 units, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%.
