On the morning of November 3rd, the promotion meeting for key equipment manufacturing projects in Shandong Province was held. Lin Wu, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Zhou Naixiang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor, attended.
Before the meeting, Lin Wu and Zhou Naixiang met with Stefan Hartong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bosch Group in Germany, and his delegation. Zhou Naixiang gave a speech at the promotion meeting. He pointed out that in recent years, Shandong has deeply implemented the important instructions and requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping, and has made high-end equipment a key focus of the iconic industrial chain. A number of key enterprises such as Shandong Heavy Industry have continued to improve and strengthen, and high-end equipment has become a beautiful business card for Shandong. The major project that started construction and production today is an important achievement in cultivating and strengthening the high-end equipment industry in our province. It is also a concentrated reflection of Shandong Heavy Industry's focus on its main business and strengthening open cooperation. It will undoubtedly provide strong support for the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry and the construction of a modern industrial system in our province. All levels and relevant departments should strengthen service guarantees, promote the early landing of contracted projects, fast construction of started projects, and efficiency improvement of put into operation projects. We hope that Shandong Heavy Industry Group, as the "chain leader" enterprise of the high-end equipment industry, can effectively carry out project construction and operation, and better assist the province in building a high-end equipment industry cluster highland. A total of 14 projects were signed, started and put into production at the promotion meeting, which were distributed in Jinan, Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang and Jining. The total fixed assets investment reached 51.5 billion yuan, and the expected annual income after reaching the capacity was 117.6 billion yuan.
At the meeting, Tan Xuguang, Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, introduced the overall situation of the project, while project leaders from other cities introduced their respective project situations. Stefan Hatong delivered a speech expressing his good wishes to invest in Shandong and deepen cooperation.
In the signing process, Shandong Heavy Industry Group signed strategic cooperation agreements with Bosch Group of Germany, as well as with ORIX Group of Japan, Changhai Group of Vietnam, BASF of Germany, Corning of the United States, and Tennak of the United States.
This event will be conducted through a combination of online and offline methods. The main venue will be located at the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group New Energy Testing Center project site in Laiwu District, Jinan City, with sub venues in Qingdao, Yantai, Weifang, and Jining. Provincial and Jinan city leaders Liu Qiang, Zeng Zanrong, Zhang Haibo, Song Junji, Zhou Liwei, Yu Haitian, as well as key officials from relevant provincial departments and some provincial enterprises, attended the event at the main venue.
