On the morning of September 19th, the 8th Shandong Cultural Industry Expo, with the theme of "Magnificent 70 Years of Prosperous Cultural Expo", kicked off at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center. Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Gong Zheng, along with provincial and Jinan city leaders Guan Zhiou, Wang Zhonglin, Wang Liang, Guo Ailing, Sun Shutao, and others, visited the Provincial Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition Hall. Yu Hongwen, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, accompanied the visit.
In recent years, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the science and technology system of the whole province has deeply implemented the important speeches and instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Shandong, "never forget the original intention and keep in mind the mission", closely focused on the major scientific and technological innovation needs of the transformation of old and new driving forces, accelerated the implementation of the eight major development strategies, actively promoted the construction of the "Big Science Plan", "Big Science Platform", "Big Science Center", and "Big Science Facility" plans, carried out the "carry over" innovation action plan, and built a "project+talent+platform" linkage mechanism for scientific and technological innovation. It has concentrated on breaking through a number of key technologies that restrict the development of the "Top Ten" industries in our province, effectively promoted the high-quality development of the province's economy, and enabled Shandong to take the lead in the process of building Provided strong support. According to the arrangement and deployment of the 8th Shandong Cultural and Creative Expo Organizing Committee, the Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition Hall is themed "Science and Technology Innovation Promotes Cultural Prosperity and Development", focusing on showcasing some representative major scientific and technological innovation achievements and cultural achievements in the past two years. The aim is to further create a good atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship through exhibition, stimulate the innovation vitality of enterprises in the province, and make new and greater contributions to promoting the comprehensive implementation of innovation driven development strategy in our province and accelerating the construction of an innovative province.
The Science and Technology Innovation Hall is the first independent exhibition hall established since the Shandong Cultural Expo. The exhibition hall is divided into nine exhibition areas, namely the Introduction Hall, Leadership Care Area, Major Scientific and Technological Achievements Exhibition Area, Smart City Exhibition Area, Robot Interactive Exchange Area, Smart Life Exhibition Area, Internet of Things+Smart Health Exhibition Area, Internet of Things Life Exhibition Area, and Digital Earth Exhibition Area. More than 100 "sophisticated" exhibitions, including the artificial intelligence server of Inspur Group, the 600km/h high-speed maglev project prototype of CRRC Sifang, the CIMC Raffles "Blue Whale One" semi submersible drilling platform, the Haitian intelligent brain interface rehabilitation training system and other major scientific and technological achievements, the airport radar obstacle removal system, satellite Internet system, urban intelligent heart system, quantum communication technology and other advanced technologies, as well as a series of robot products, Internet of Things+intelligent health products that can achieve human-computer interaction and communication for walking, were presented in a concentrated manner, bringing a feast of scientific and technological innovation to the citizens by means of graphic display, video frequency, interactive experience and other ways.
It is reported that the number of participating countries and regions, the number of exhibitors, and the exhibition area of foreign enterprises at this year's Cultural Expo have all reached the highest level in history. Among them, the total exhibition area of this year's exhibition is 103000 square meters (comparable in scale to the Shenzhen Cultural and Creative Expo), with more than 5000 international standard booths and 2701 exhibitors.
