The 3rd National Industrial Robot Technology Application Skills Competition of the 2019 China Skills Competition has been launched
On June 25th, the launch ceremony and technical briefing of the 3rd National Industrial Robot Technology Application Skills Competition, the 2019 China Skills Competition, was successfully held in Jinan City, Shandong Province. Leaders including Han Zhanwu, Director of the Personnel and Education Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Yan Weige, Deputy Director, Sun Bin, Deputy Mayor of Jinan City, and Ma Qiang, Director of the Education and Examination Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the launch ceremony.
The National Industrial Robot Technology Application Skills Competition is one of the important measures to implement the requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on talent work, promote the transformation and development of the manufacturing industry, accelerate the construction of high skilled talent teams, and promote the spirit of craftsmanship. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the Ministry of Education, the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. It is a national level first-class competition and currently the largest competition in the field of intelligent manufacturing in China. It is also the highest standard national competition in the field of industrial robot skills competition in China. The competition focuses on the typical applications of industrial robots in the field of intelligent manufacturing, aiming to cultivate and select high skilled talents in the field of industrial robots. On the basis of maintaining the advantages of the previous two competitions, higher skill requirements are put forward for the contestants, covering a wider range of application areas and emphasizing the embodiment of craftsmanship spirit.
This competition is divided into two stages: selection and final. The selection competition is jointly organized and implemented by relevant units such as the provincial (regional, municipal) industrial and information technology competent department, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security (bureau), the Department of Education (commission, bureau), the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and the provincial (regional, municipal) Youth League Committee. The list of finalists will be determined before September 20, 2019.
The final stage of the competition will be organized and implemented by the office of the competition organizing committee under the leadership of the competition organizing committee. It will be held in Jinan, Shandong Province in mid to late October 2019, and the specific time and location will be notified separately by the office of the competition organizing committee.
On the basis of the staff and student groups, this competition has added a teacher group for the first time, and has increased the recognition and reward efforts: the first prize winners in the teacher and staff groups will be awarded the honor of "National Technical Expert" after approval; Participants who have won the top three first prizes and are under the age of 35 will be given priority in applying for the honor of "National Youth Post Expert".
The contestants who win the first prize in the employee group and meet the conditions will be given priority in recommending the "National May Day Labor Medal" to the All China Federation of Trade Unions, and will be listed as "High skilled Leading Talents and Excellent Industry Technology Shortage Talents Going Abroad"（The competition in the competition stage consists of two parts: theoretical examination and practical operation, covering all positions in the application of industrial robot technology. All competition tasks are based on the real production and process of industrial products, and all process standards are benchmarked against the World Skills Competition's Manufacturing and Engineering Technology category scoring standards.
As the host of the finals, the Jinan Municipal People's Government provides comprehensive guarantees for the hosting of the competition, including venue, reception, safety, transportation, medical care, and hygiene.
