Wang Xinzhe: Improve industrial Internet security to promote high-quality development of manufacturing industry
On June 21-22, the 2019 China Industrial Information Security Conference, hosted by the National Industrial Information Security Development Research Center and the Industrial Information Security Industry Development Alliance, was held in Beijing. Wang Xinzhe, Chief Economist of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the morning meeting on June 21 and delivered a speech. Wang Xinzhe stressed that the world is at the historical intersection of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. The new generation of information technology represented by big data, cloud computing, industrial Internet and artificial intelligence is deeply integrated with the real economy, and the industrial economy is accelerating its expansion from digitalization to networking and intelligence. With the rapid development of industrial Internet, more and more industrial production equipment and systems are networked, and the manufacturing environment is open, cross domain, and interconnected. The problem of industrial information security is increasingly prominent.
Wang Xinzhe said that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will thoroughly implement the decisions and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, accelerate the improvement of the industrial Internet security assurance system, accelerate the improvement of the industrial Internet security assurance capability, make every effort to ensure the stable and healthy operation of the industrial economy, and play an active role in promoting high-quality economic development and safeguarding national security. Focus on the following tasks:
One is to improve institutional norms. We will promote the introduction of guidance on strengthening industrial Internet security, improve the industrial Internet security management system and mechanism, and strive to build a security management system in which enterprises take the main responsibility and the government supervises. Accelerate the development of standards in key areas and improve the industrial Internet security standard system.
The second is to break through key technologies. Strengthen the research and development of key core technologies, fill in technical gaps, and enhance the construction of security technology means. Organize the implementation of the industrial Internet innovation and development project, and carry out the research and development, testing and evaluation of industrial Internet security technology.
The third is to build a security system. Accelerate the establishment of a security technology prevention and control system covering the national, local and enterprise levels, strengthen the five security lines of equipment security, control security, network security, platform security and data security, and build a strong national industrial Internet security technology guarantee system. Promote enterprises to enhance their security awareness, implement their main responsibilities, and improve their protective capabilities.
The fourth is to strengthen support and guarantee. We will strengthen the research, development, promotion and application of industrial Internet security technology products, support leading enterprises to become bigger and stronger, and strive to build a security industry development pattern where large, small and medium-sized enterprises develop together. Innovate the training mechanism for industrial Internet security talents, and accelerate the cultivation of a number of composite leading talents and backbone talents.
The fifth is to deepen international cooperation. Give full play to the role of the National Industrial Information Security Industry Development Alliance, actively expand multi-level cooperation with international organizations, standards institutions and multinational enterprises, jointly build a globally coordinated and inclusive industrial Internet industry development ecology, and jointly create a comprehensive, in-depth and diversified industrial Internet open development pattern.
It is reported that the theme of this conference is "Smart Connectivity for Industrial Security and Guarding the Future". More than 1000 experts and representatives from relevant departments, industry enterprises, research institutes, and universities attended the conference.
