Xin Guobin, member of the Party Group and Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while Fei Zhirong, Vice Chairman of the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, attended the meeting. 　　Xin Guobin pointed out that manufacturing equipment is not only a working machine, but also a concentrated reflection of a country's industrial level and manufacturing capabilities. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, China's manufacturing industry has made significant achievements, but there are still many shortcomings and weaknesses in key core areas, especially in high-end manufacturing equipment, which has become a bottleneck restricting the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and endangering industrial safety.

　　Xin Guobin emphasized that the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council have a far sighted vision and decided to implement the major weak equipment special project, which has significant practical and long-term strategic significance for improving innovation capabilities, promoting supply side structural reform, and promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.

　　Xin Guobin requested that all localities, key enterprises, industry organizations, and all sectors of society actively implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and promote the innovative development of major weak equipment.
