On the morning of July 10th, the unveiling ceremony of the Special Lubricant Research and Development Center of the National Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, jointly established by China University of Petroleum (East China) and Shandong Yuangen Petrochemical Co., Ltd., the vice president unit of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, was held at Yuangen Petrochemical. The main leaders and relevant personnel from China University of Petroleum (East China), Shandong Vocational College of Science and Technology, Jining Science and Technology Bureau, Jining National High tech Industrial Development Zone, and Shandong Yuangen Petrochemical Co., Ltd. gathered together to witness this important moment of industry university research integration.

Yu Liandong, Assistant to the President of China University of Petroleum (East China), Tian Yuanyu, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil, Liu Liang, Member of the Party Working Committee of Jining High tech Zone and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Jiezhuang Street, and Yao Lianzhi, Vice President of the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Yuangen Petrochemical, jointly unveiled the R&D Center, marking the official establishment of the Special Lubricant R&D Center of the National Key Laboratory of Heavy Oil in Shandong Yuangen Petrochemical.

Yao Lianzhi stated in his speech that special lubricants are the "blood" of industrial equipment. Yuangen Petrochemical has been deeply involved in the lubricant field for many years and understands the importance of independent and controllable core technologies. The establishment of the special oil research and development center of the State Key Laboratory has built a platform for in-depth cooperation between enterprises and universities.
