On May 12-14, 2023, the Ultrasonic Testing Conference of the Non destructive Testing Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering was successfully held in Jining City, Shandong Province. This conference is hosted by the Non destructive Testing Branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering, and jointly organized by Shandong Ruixiang Mold Co., Ltd. and Shuode (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. As a grand event in the domestic ultrasound testing industry,More than 500 ultrasonic testing scholars, experts, researchers, technicians, and equipment production and sales personnel from all over the countryGather together, discuss technology, participate in grand events, seek common development, and paint the future together!

Vice Chairman Xu Yongchang expressed sincere congratulations on the holding of this ultrasonic testing conference, thanked the organizing committee for their careful arrangements over the years, and thanked the employees of Ruixiang for their hard work in this conference. Ultrasonic testing, as the largest technology branch in the field of non-destructive testing, requires ultrasonic practitioners to take responsibility and promote the development of China's ultrasonic testing industry, catch up with international advanced levels, and move towards becoming a strong country in non-destructive testing!

Secretary-General Ji Jingyuan expressed his great honor to come to Jining, the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, to attend this grand meeting. He thanked the chairman, vice-chairman, committee members and exhibitors of the Ultrasonic Testing Conference for their unremitting support and efforts for this conference for many years, withstanding the pressure and eliminating all difficulties. Only today can we present such a grand occasion to everyone. Thank Ruixiang Mould Co., Ltd. for its full support and careful preparation for this conference, finally, I also hope that the majority of ultrasonic testing colleagues will support the convening of the annual meeting of the NDT Society in October this year, and wish the conference a complete success!

Chairman Wei Zhongrui reviewed the three years of preparation for the organizing committee's conference, and it was not easy to achieve today's grand occasion. He deeply apologized for the poor reception and selfless dedication due to his infinite love. Mr. Wei expressed that he felt very honored and proud to have so many colleagues gather in Jining, and welcomed everyone to come to Jining and Ruixiang often!

Seven themed sub venues

　　The conference has set up 7 sub venues, with themes including: ultrasonic characterization of material properties, phased array ultrasound, ultrasonic sensors and instruments, ultrasonic theory, application of ultrasonic testing technology, ultrasonic guided wave testing, and in-service monitoring. The presentations at each venue were exciting and varied, and the technical discussions were highly enthusiastic, with frequent peaks.
