On the afternoon of September 24th, the report meeting on the new progress of laser processing technology and the on-site meeting for promoting the application of laser industry in Linyi were held. Officials from the Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, Linyi Economic Development Zone, and Pentium Laser Group introduced the development of Linyi's laser industry and laser processing technology.
It is reported that in 2019, the leading domestic high-power laser enterprise, Pentium Laser, settled in Linyi and established Pentium Laser Technology (Shandong) Co., Ltd. It signed the contract, built and put into operation in the same year, filling the gap of Linyi's lack of laser industry. It is of great significance for the construction and supplementation of Linyi's intelligent manufacturing industry chain and the high-quality development of traditional manufacturing industry.
After more than a year of production, the development of Pentium Laser in Linyi has been quite rapid, with various economic indicators exceeding expectations and significant social and economic benefits. In 2020, despite the severe impact of the epidemic, the company still achieved a revenue of 250 million yuan and a tax revenue of 8 million yuan. The company's scale grew from more than 40 people to more than 120 people. Since the beginning of this year, the market situation has far exceeded expectations, with orders pouring in. The delivery cycle of some non-standard products has been delayed to more than three months, and the workshop has been operating at full capacity. As of now, the revenue has remained the same as last year, and it is expected to exceed 400 million yuan for the whole year, with an increase of over 70%.
Pentium Laser is a company that places special emphasis on scientific research and innovation. Since its launch, it has developed six or seven high-end flagship products, which are highly recognized by the market, especially the large format Bull equipment, which has achieved remarkable results in the field of construction machinery. China's leading construction machinery enterprise Sany Heavy Industry has purchased over a hundred units of equipment in two batches, and cooperation is also underway with companies such as Zoomlion, XCMG, and Lingong. The 20000 watt lightning model has excellent performance and has reached the international advanced level. It was rated as the first major technical equipment in Shandong Province by the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology in July this year. In order to vigorously develop the laser industry and promote laser technology to empower traditional industries in Linyi and even Shandong, under the high attention of the Municipal Party Committee and Government, Linyi Economic Development Zone has planned Linyi Laser Industrial Park with Pentium Laser as the leader. The park is developed and constructed by Linyi Guokong Group, with a fast construction speed. 15 individual buildings are being constructed simultaneously, and some workshops will be put into use by the end of October.
At the same time, Linyi Economic Development Zone has also established a laser industry investment promotion team. With the cooperation of Pentium Laser, they have met well-known enterprises and high-end academic experts in the Chinese laser industry, participated in various laser exhibitions multiple times, and went to Wuhan, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wenzhou, Suqian and other places for investment promotion activities, and provided favorable entry conditions. Many well-known enterprises have reached the intention of entering the park and plan to develop in Linyi.
At present, the laser industry has been included in our city's "14th Five Year Plan" development plan.
