On August 20, 2020, the 8th Member Representative Conference and Council of China Heavy Machinery Industry Association was held at the Jinhua Hotel in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The Sino German Key Laboratory of Magnetoelectricity and Intelligent Mineral Processing Technology Research and Development, jointly established by Huate Magnetoelectricity and RWTH Aachen University in Germany, is located at the headquarters of Huate Magnetoelectricity Company. The laboratory is built according to national laboratory standards, and is committed to providing scientific guidance, application demonstration, and backbone talent training for the global mineral processing and sorting industry by introducing German intelligent sensing and sorting technology, and combining superconducting magnet application technology and traditional magnetic application technology. At the same time, it also provides a professional public service platform for national level magnetic electric strategic alliances, national metallurgical and mining associations, etc.
Our laboratory covers an area of 8600 square meters and currently has 120 full-time or part-time experimental researchers. The laboratory has complete processing equipment, complete detection and analysis instruments, and good product and mineral experimental conditions. It is equipped with a crushing and grinding area, a dry sorting area, a powder processing pilot area, an intelligent sensing sorting area, a superconducting magnetic separation area, a magneto electric beneficiation area, a multifunctional continuous selection area, a flotation area, a reselection area, a material testing area, and a new product testing area. We have over 300 sets of various experimental equipment and instruments, with 80% reaching the domestic leading level or above, and 20% reaching the international advanced level. At the same time, we are equipped with advanced infrastructure such as photovoltaic power generation systems, recyclable water supply systems, central air conditioning systems, water mist dust removal systems, and high-pressure gas supply systems to provide guarantees.
Shandong Hengbiao Inspection and Testing Co., Ltd. has a total area of over 1800 square meters, fixed assets of over 6 million yuan, and 25 professional inspection and testing personnel, including 10 senior title engineers and laboratory technicians. It is a nationally recognized public service platform that provides professional inspection and testing, information technology consulting, education and training services for the mining and metal materials related industry chain, and can independently assume legal responsibilities. Operate and provide services in accordance with CNAS-CL01:2018 (Accreditation Criteria for Testing and Calibration Laboratories). There are chemical analysis room, instrument analysis room, material testing room, physical property testing room, etc. We have over 200 main instruments and equipment, including Thermo Fisher Scientific X-ray fluorescence spectrometer, atomic absorption spectrometer, plasma emission spectrometer, carbon sulfur analyzer, direct reading spectrometer, impact testing machine, universal testing machine, etc.
The testing scope includes elemental chemical analysis of non-metallic minerals (quartz, feldspar, kaolin, mica, fluorite, etc.) and metallic minerals (iron, manganese, chromium, titanium, vanadium, tungsten, molybdenum, lead, zinc, nickel, gold, silver, rare earth minerals, etc.), as well as material and physical property testing of metallic materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, and aluminum.
