[Vice President's Unit Style] Warm congratulations to Shankuang Company on the successful grid connection of Unit 1 of the first phase of the Dubai Hassyan Clean Coal fired Power Plant project, in which Shankuang Company participated in the construction!
At 13:45 local time on May 18th in Dubai, Unit 1 of the Dubai Hassyan Clean Coal fired Power Plant Phase I (4X600MW) project, in which Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd. participated and Harbin Electric Power International undertook, was successfully connected to the grid. All system parameters of the unit were normal, and the equipment operated smoothly with excellent quality. This is another international project undertaken by Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd., following the successful operation of the Java coal-fired power plant in Indonesia and the PAMPA coal-fired power plant in Brazil.
Dubai Hasyan Clean Coal fired Power Plant Project is the first clean coal fired power plant in the Middle East, and also the first project in which Chinese enterprises in the Middle East are deeply involved under the "the Belt and Road" framework. Hasyan's successful grid connected power generation marks a major breakthrough in the construction of the world's first power plant that can achieve full load power supply with dual fuels, and declares that the first power plant project in the Middle East under the "the Belt and Road" framework that Chinese enterprises participate in investment, construction and operation has achieved significant results. It is also a major milestone in the history of China's overseas power project construction. After the power plant is fully put into operation, it will not only provide 20% of power energy for Dubai, but also significantly reduce the cost of electricity for local residents, and will provide power security for the Dubai World Expo.
The Hassyan project includes numerous Chinese elements and is a typical case of strong alliances, unity, and joint services provided by Chinese enterprises overseas. At the beginning of 2018, Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd. successfully passed the expert group bidding review and signed the design and manufacturing contract for the belt conveyor and other equipment of the Dubai Hasyan Clean Coal Power Plant Phase I (4X600MW Net) project and the dock project. In order to better serve international customers, explore international markets, and demonstrate the manufacturing strength of Shankuang, the company has established a project team and implemented a project responsibility system. In terms of design, raw material procurement, manufacturing, and testing, the company strictly organizes project production and manufacturing in accordance with contract and technical agreement requirements, with high standards and strict requirements, ensuring the smooth completion of various product production, shipping, and other work, laying a solid foundation for the smooth completion of the project and early commercial operation.
In recent years, Shandong Shankuang Machinery Co., Ltd. has actively implemented the famous brand strategy and enterprise transformation and upgrading, actively responded to the call of "the Belt and Road" put forward by the state, grasped the domestic market, developed the international market, and successively signed several project contracts, including Indonesia Java coal-fired power plant project, Pakistan CLP Hub 2 × 660MW coal-fired power generation and terminal project, and CMEC general contracting Serbia Kostolac-B power plant phase II project. Shankuang Machinery products are now distributed in more than 30 countries across five continents and have received unanimous recognition from customers.
Shankuang will continue to respond to the national strategic call of "the the Belt and Road", under the correct leadership of the company's party committee and board of directors, work together to work hard and forge ahead bravely. With the determination to overcome difficulties and win, and rock solid confidence, Shankuang will "go out" its products and technologies, help the "the Belt and Road" construction with high-quality products and good services, and strive to win the final victory of epidemic prevention and control and production and operation of Shankuang machinery!
