Jinan Heavy Industry is fighting against the epidemic and utilizing the "point-to-point" policy to assist in resuming work and production

According to the requirements of Several Measures for Speeding up the Resumption of Enterprises and Project Construction in the Province issued by the Leading Group for Handling the COVID-19 of the Provincial Party Committee on February 18, 2020, Jinan Heavy Industry Group, the director unit of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, organized the epidemic prevention team on February 21 and decided to "point to point" pick up 14 technicians from outside the province of the engineering company, return to the factory and resume work. The Logistics Support Department and the engineering company jointly formed an implementation team to complete the task.

The three members of the "point-to-point" implementation team are: Sun Yuanchen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the Engineering Company, leading the team, Xue Tianhe and Li Meng from the Logistics Support Department responsible for driving the bus, and the Logistics Support Department specially selected a shuttle bus and disinfected it.

Travel arrangement: Company - Jinan Ring Expressway - Jiguang Expressway - Rilan Expressway - Hebao Expressway - Daguang Expressway - Fengqiu Exit, then return the original route, with a round-trip distance of 800 kilometers.

During the epidemic prevention period, the flow of vehicles on the highway was sparse, and the service areas were basically closed. The two drivers strictly followed the requirements of high-speed driving and rotated driving. Along the way, the three of them held back their hunger and thirst without stopping, striving to arrive safely and quickly at the pick-up location.

Arriving at the designated location - Fengqiu County Expressway Exit in Xinxiang City, 14 employees are on standby. The pick-up and drop off team members measure their body temperature, put on masks, and carefully check their local community (village) health pass certificates, all of which have been registered one by one. The implementation team completed the task and safely led 14 workers to return to the company after resuming work.

The epidemic prevention team of the engineering company briefed them on the group's epidemic prevention measures, including twice daily temperature measurement and recording, one person per file, ensuring daily disinfection before and after work, correctly wearing masks and labor protection equipment, standardized use of welding range machines, no illegal operations, and strict compliance with company rules and regulations. The returning workers stated that they will strictly abide by the group's epidemic prevention measures, conscientiously carry out protective work, ensure safe production, and conscientiously complete their work.
