【 Member Unit Style 】 "LH-GZ Series High Contact Ratio Heavy Duty Reducer" Passed Expert Appraisal

On December 5, 2019, the China General Machinery Industry Association and the China Machinery Industry Federation organized a product appraisal meeting for the "LH-GZ series high contact ratio heavy-duty gearbox (models: LH-GZ90F, LH-GZ430, LH-GZ280X)" jointly developed by Shandong Liuhang Gearbox Co., Ltd. and Beihang University in Zibo, Shandong. The meeting was chaired by Huang Li, President of the China General Machinery Industry Association.

The experts of the appraisal committee are composed of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Beijing University of Technology, China General Machinery Parts Industry Association, National Defense Science and Technology Industry Science and Technology Achievement Promotion and Transformation Research Center, China Building Materials Machinery Industry Association, National Building Materials Industry Building Materials Machinery Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Testing Center, China Aerospace Science and Technology Shenyang Engine Research Institute, Zhengzhou Machinery Research Institute Co., Ltd., Shandong University Engineering Training Center, Zibo Agricultural Machinery Research Institute and other units.

The experts of the appraisal committee listened to the research and development summary report of Shandong Liuhang Gearbox Co., Ltd. and Beihang University, inspected the production and testing site, witnessed the performance test of the product prototype, and consulted relevant design, manufacturing, testing, inspection and quality assurance documents. After discussion and inquiry, the expert group unanimously agreed that the "LH-GZ series high contact ratio heavy-duty gearbox" has independent intellectual property rights, fills the domestic gap, and the main technical indicators have reached the international advanced level. Among them, the high contact ratio and multi tooth meshing tooth profile are internationally pioneering.  

This project has developed a new type of high contact ratio heavy-duty reducer, with a power range of 20-2000kW, an input speed range of 500-1500r/min, a single-stage speed ratio of 11-100, and a meshing tooth count of more than 8, greatly improving the bearing capacity, running more smoothly, thicker tooth roots, strong bending resistance, and can adapt to various complex and harsh working conditions. During the development process, the project has obtained 5 national invention patents, 2 software copyrights, completed 6 sets of technical reports, and 3 sets of standard specifications.

President Huang Li said in his speech that Shandong Liuhang Gearbox Co., Ltd. has its own good corporate culture and differentiated development strategy, which has enabled the company to achieve excellent results in specialized and refined development. In the past two years, the company has achieved innovative results in the "industry university research" cooperation with Beihang University, and hopes that the research and development achievements can be applied to a wider range of fields.
