Shandong achieves' zero breakthrough 'for local new energy passenger vehicle enterprises

It is reported that the construction project of Guojin Automobile was approved by the Development and Reform Commission of Shandong Province in December 2018, with a total investment of 4.35 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 100000 new energy passenger vehicles; According to the German Industry 4.0 standard, four major workshops have been built for stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly, with an automation productivity of over 90%; Established the Guojin Automotive Research Institute, introduced 3 experts from the national "Thousand Talents Plan" and 17 top international talents in the industry, and established strategic partnerships with well-known R&D teams from the United States, Germany, and other countries, possessing MPV, sedan SUV、 The research and development platform for the four major models of microcars.

Guojin Automobile has established long-term technical cooperation relationships with well-known domestic institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Tsinghua University in core components and charging infrastructure. The company has accumulated 369 authorized core technology patents, including 39 invention patents. After the project reaches its production capacity, it will effectively promote the transformation of old and new driving forces in Shandong's automotive industry and accelerate the transition towards high-quality development.

At present, there are 11 newly established pure electric passenger car production enterprises managed through the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, including Guojin Automobile, BAIC New Energy, Yundu New Energy, Jiangling New Energy, Changjiang Automobile, Zhidou Automobile, Qiantu Automobile, Hezhong New Energy, Jinkang New Energy, Guoneng New Energy, Jiangsu Min'an, etc.

In recent years, Zibo City in Shandong Province has vigorously developed the new energy industry. Shandong Guojin Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a new energy pure electric vehicle enterprise that integrates automobile research and development, manufacturing, logistics, and e-commerce. It has an annual production capacity of 100000 pure electric new energy vehicles and has become the industry leader in intelligent equipment manufacturing in Zibo City.

Shandong Province is a major producer of new energy vehicles. In 2018, it produced 170000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 17%, accounting for 13% of the national new energy vehicle production. However, the previous support was provided by branches established by non provincial enterprises such as BAIC Group and Geely Automobile in Shandong. As a local enterprise that independently obtained the national new energy passenger vehicle production qualification, Guojin Automobile achieved a "zero breakthrough".

In 2018, the first pure electric MPV model GM3 of Guojin Automobile began trial production. Currently, its sales channels have covered more than 60 cities including Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, etc., and it has been included in the official vehicle procurement catalog of Shandong, Beijing, Jiangxi, Shanxi and related systems. It has reached strategic cooperation with travel platforms and navigation platforms. It is reported that in the next step, Zibo City will take Guojin Automobile's body lightweighting, three electric technology, and vehicle networking research and development as the core, build a leading domestic new energy vehicle industry base integrating new energy vehicle technology research and production, attract 100 supporting parts enterprises, create a billion dollar new energy vehicle industry cluster, and lead the development of new energy vehicle technology.
