The effectiveness of using standards to drive equipment updates and exchanging old for new consumer goods has begun to show
In order to thoroughly implement the "Work Plan for Promoting High Quality Economic Development through Standard Upgrading" and the "Action Plan for Upgrading Traction Equipment and Replacing Consumer Goods with Old Products through Standard Upgrading", the State Administration for Market Regulation recently monitored the implementation of nearly 200 "two plans" that have been implemented for more than three months. The results show that there are over 16900 product categories produced according to standards, with more than 1500 testing institutions following standards. The implementation of standards in some areas has shown initial results.
From the perspective of standard driven consumer goods trade in, a number of standards such as "Smart Consumer Product Safety", "Green Product Evaluation Furniture", and "General Technical Requirements for Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Products" have "spawned" a batch of consumer "explosive products" such as digital showerheads and smart temperature adjustable toilets. This year, the home decoration kitchen and bathroom have been revitalized with over 50 million orders, and 3000 new categories of smart toilets have been added. JD kitchenware's trade in orders have increased by 50% year-on-year. More than 2200 green furniture product certification certificates have been issued based on the "Green Product Evaluation Furniture" as the main technical basis, with over 700 certified enterprises, and consumer vitality continues to emerge.
From the perspective of promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry through standards, standards such as "Lithium ion Batteries for Electric Energy Storage" have accelerated the iteration and upgrading of energy storage products. This year, the total production capacity of the energy storage industry chain has reached more than 120 projects, and 59 new overseas energy storage orders have been added. The "Electric Vehicle Conductive Charging System Part 5: DC Charging System for GB/T20234.3" effectively solves the "bottleneck" of long charging time for electric vehicles. After the implementation of the standard, the short-term charging power can reach 1000 kilowatts, achieving charging in 5 minutes and driving 400 kilometers. More than 120 models/charging pile products on the market or under research have adopted this standard. The implementation of standards such as "Requirements and Methods for Reliability Flight Testing of Civil Drones" has reduced the development, testing, and production costs of civil drones. The development cost of large and medium-sized fixed wing drones has been reduced by 18%, and the collision risk index of civil light and small drones has been reduced by an average of 40% to 60%.
From the perspective of improving safety and security capabilities, the national standards for portable fire extinguishers and wheeled fire extinguishers have added classification requirements for Class D fires (metal fires) and Class F fires (cooking fires), making the products suitable for more complex fire scenarios and improving the efficiency of initial fire suppression, which has attracted high attention from the public. The monthly average download volume of the national standard for portable fire extinguishers has exceeded 5000 times, and more than 240 enterprises have produced according to the new national standard. In the first quarter of this year, the transaction volume of household fire extinguishers on e-commerce platforms increased by 65%, and the fire prevention capabilities of construction sites, catering venues, and ordinary households have been greatly improved.
At present, the upgrading of traction equipment and the exchange of old and new consumer goods with higher standards are being continuously promoted. The State Administration for Market Regulation will work with relevant departments to strengthen the promotion and dissemination of standards, better play the role of standards, and promote high-quality economic development.
