On March 26, 2024, the General Assembly of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the Second First Member Conference were held at Weihai Electronic Hotel, electing a new leadership team of the association. More than 80 leaders from relevant departments and member units of the Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Association, including Liu Yudang, Liu Guangming, Zheng Weifeng, former leaders of Weihai City, Xing Haibo, Director of Weihai Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Yang Qiyu, Deputy Director of Weihai Electronic Information Technology Comprehensive Research Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Han Chengyu, Deputy Director of Weihai Administrative Approval Bureau, Li Song, and Wang Jianying, leader of Weihai Civil Affairs Bureau Social Management Bureau, attended the conference to witness an important moment in the milestone of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Association. Su Hongxing, Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, congratulated and delivered a speech at the meeting.
The conference was chaired by Sun Jipeng, Secretary General of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Association and Chairman of Weihai Haiwang Cyclone Co., Ltd. The meeting reviewed and approved the "Work Report of the First Council of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association" and the "Financial Work Report of the First Council of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association". Li Song, Deputy Director of Weihai Administrative Approval Service Bureau, read and approved the approval of the election of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association.
Subsequently, the conference reviewed and approved the newly revised "Articles of Association of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Association", "Membership Fee Management Measures", and "Election Methods for General Elections". The conference elected the second council unit, vice president unit, and president unit through anonymous voting and issued certificates. Zhao Juntang, Chairman of Weihai Datian Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., and Xu Chengfei, President of Tianrun Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., were respectively elected as the new president and supervisor of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Association.
In his speech, President Zhao Juntang expressed gratitude for the support and trust of leaders at all levels and all members. The Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association will fully leverage its role as a bridge and service coordination, innovate for strength, unite for mutual benefit, keep pace with the times, and contribute to society, continuously pushing the association's work to new heights and making new and greater contributions to Weihai's equipment manufacturing industry.
In his speech, Su Hongxing, Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, congratulated the convening of the conference and the newly elected leadership team, and introduced in detail the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award selected by the provincial association to the entrepreneurs present. He encouraged all participating enterprises to actively apply and attach importance to their own scientific and technological innovation. Su Hongxing stated that the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association will conscientiously implement the linkage mechanism between the provincial and municipal associations, broaden service channels, improve service levels, and help the high-quality development of the equipment manufacturing industry in the province and Weihai.
