The Jining Machinery Industry Association successfully concluded its visit, learning, and exchange with advanced manufacturing enterprises in Weihai, Yantai, and Qingdao for benchmarking purposes
In the scorching summer of July, the blue sky is filled with the instructions of more than 200 member units, and we are learning from the development experience of high-tech enterprises and advanced equipment manufacturing industries in Qingdao, Yantai, and Weihai, the leading industrial cities in Shandong's coastal opening up. Adhering to the guiding ideology of "approaching the forefront, benchmarking learning, drawing on experience, and focusing on practical results", we will closely connect Jining's equipment manufacturing industry with advanced manufacturing enterprises in coastal open city industrial parks, enhance mutual understanding, friendly cooperation, learn from advanced technology, management experience, and concepts. The Jining Machinery Industry Association was led by Vice President Li Xingqiang, and a delegation of 36 members including Vice Presidents Du Yazhong, Zhang Shengchen, Cheng Yongxi, Wen Chentao, Sun Xianjun, some directors, and enterprise leaders from member units participated in the benchmarking study and inspection activity.
On July 16-17, a benchmarking study and inspection team from Jining Machinery Industry Association visited Weihai Tianrun Crankshaft Co., Ltd., Shandong Baishengyuan Group, Datian Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., and East China Numerical Control Co., Ltd. in Weihai. At the end of the visit, attendees from Jining Machinery Industry Association had a discussion with key executives from some enterprises of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. The three listed companies visited have a common feature, although their products are different, which is their strong independent research and development capabilities, large R&D investment, and decades of focus on making familiar products.

On July 17-18, a benchmarking study and inspection team from Jining Machinery Industry Association visited Yantai Binglun Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Walu Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., Doosan Engineering Machinery (China) Co., Ltd., and Longji Machinery Co., Ltd. The attendees had a discussion with some of the main responsible persons of enterprises from Yantai Ice Wheel Group and Yantai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, and held a friendly association signing ceremony between Jining Machinery Industry Association and Yantai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association.

Discussion and Exchange at Yantai Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park
On July 19th, the Jining Machinery Industry Association's benchmarking study and inspection team visited Qingdao Yongji Heavy duty Machine Tool Co., Ltd. and Qingdao Liding Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. in Qingdao, and had a discussion at Liding Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. Through this visit to the production site and the exchange and learning with the technical and management leaders of the enterprise, I have felt that privately-owned enterprises in coastal areas have different characteristics in corporate culture, resource allocation, factory environment, business model, and technological innovation. In particular, as an equipment manufacturing enterprise, it has reached a consensus that its manufacturing capability, core technology, Internet plus, and integration of informatization and Internet should not be blindly followed. What is suitable for itself is better. The above 10 enterprises, in the process of transformation and upgrading, have formed product series, continuously extended the industrial chain, and have a complete product industrial chain and relatively fixed customer base. The successful experience of providing customized complete equipment solutions is worth learning, thinking and drawing on.
