Guangming District Science and Technology Innovation Bureau visits Shenzhen Machinery Industry Association to investigate the development of manufacturing industry

On June 26th, Liu Yunhong, Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of Guangming District, Shenzhen, led leaders from the Science and Technology Development Department, Innovation Promotion Department, and Science and Technology Innovation Service Center to visit the association. They had discussions and exchanges with the association's President Huang Shaoping, Executive President Zhang Yaohua, Vice Presidents Ye Mingwu and Peng Hongfu, Deputy Director of Operations of Hexagon South China Business Unit Chen Zhaojun, and General Manager of Huawei Industrial Cloud Wang Yu on industry development and industrial policies.

Director Liu Yunhong visited and learned about the Shenzhen Quality Cloud Platform jointly built by the association, Hexagon, and Huawei Cloud, and listened in detail to the introduction of the Shenzhen Quality Cloud Platform at the symposium.

At the symposium, Executive Chairman Zhang Yaohua mentioned that the Shenzhen Machinery Industry Association is leading the construction of the Shenzhen Mold Industry Agglomeration Base, establishing an intelligent manufacturing co creation space, creating the Shenzhen Quality Cloud Platform, organizing domestic and foreign business inspections, and building various service platforms to guide and assist enterprises and industries in transformation and upgrading through intelligent manufacturing and high-quality development.

After listening to the introduction of various functional platforms provided by the association to service enterprises, Director Liu Yunhong affirmed the association's innovative services in response to the needs of the times, and mentioned that the Shenzhen Machinery Industry Association, as the first 5A level city level industry association to settle in Guangming, has led the transformation and upgrading of the Shenzhen machinery industry from a traditional industry to a strategic emerging industry. Manufacturing is the mainstay of the national economy, and equipment manufacturing is of paramount importance. Government policies will also provide strong support for the development of manufacturing.
