Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Industry Education Alliance Established
On April 13th, Qingdao Daily reported that the establishment conference of the Shandong Artificial Intelligence Industry Education Alliance and the Artificial Intelligence Education Forum were held yesterday at Qingdao Vocational and Technical College. The first batch of joining units includes more than 50 enterprises such as Shenzhen Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., Tencent Cloud Technology Co., Ltd., and iFlytek, as well as 80 undergraduate, vocational and technical schools in the province.
Artificial intelligence has become a new engine for contemporary economic transformation. With the support of the Provincial Department of Education, Qingdao Vocational and Technical College and Shandong Shining Education Technology Group jointly initiated the establishment of the Shandong Province Artificial Intelligence Industry Education Alliance. The Industry Education Alliance takes "cross-border, cooperation, innovation, and win-win" as its purpose, with the main task of promoting innovative development through school enterprise cooperation. By building a platform for communication, cooperation, and sharing, it seizes the opportunities brought by artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and cloud computing, plays the role of a bridge and link between universities, enterprises, and alliances, promotes the integration of industry and education, and creates a collaborative innovation and development platform for win-win cooperation between industry, academia, research, and application. The Industry Education Alliance has nine guiding committees, including Artificial Intelligence Teaching, Science Popularization Guidance, Textbook Compilation, Curriculum Development, Applied Technology Research, Skills Competition, Teacher Training, Vocational Qualification Certification, and Smart Campus Construction. The establishment of the alliance is of great significance for accelerating the cultivation of artificial intelligence talents in Shandong Province, enhancing the competitiveness and influence of the artificial intelligence industry in Shandong Province.
As the chairman unit of the alliance, Qingdao Vocational and Technical College has cooperated with Shandong Shining Education Technology Group to jointly establish an Artificial Intelligence College and an "Artificial Intelligence Exhibition and Training Center", and has written popular AI reading materials and built an artificial intelligence teaching and training exhibition platform. At the forum, the Artificial Intelligence College and Artificial Intelligence Technology Skills Research Center of Youth Vocational College were unveiled and established.
