——Thoughts on Participating in the 5th Second Member Representative Conference of China Construction Machinery Industry Association and the 15th High level Forum on Construction Machinery Development The 5th Second Member Representative Conference of China Construction Machinery Industry Association and the 15th China Construction Machinery Development High Level Forum with the theme of "Opportunities, Rationality, Value, and Development" were held on April 12, 2017~The grand meeting was held in our city on the 14th. I, the Machinery Industry Chamber of Commerce, have been invited to attend this conference. Through attending this conference, I have the following feelings that I would like to share with you. 1、 The development status of the construction machinery industry has undergone positive changes, and the production and operation situation of major products has greatly improved. The construction machinery industry has regained a new vitality of spiral upward trendSince the second half of 2016, the market sales of the construction machinery industry have grown rapidly. At the conference, many spare parts companies reported that due to being in a semi shutdown state for a long time and facing the sudden improvement of the industry situation, they did not have sufficient preparation in terms of personnel, machinery, materials and other aspects, resulting in many orders being unable to be completed on time, leading to a shortage of construction machinery components. As a major production hub for construction machinery, our city has a group of well-known domestic and foreign engineering manufacturing enterprises, which undertake the important mission of building a strong manufacturing country in China. At present, under the influence of a series of policies and measures at the national, provincial, and municipal levels to adjust structure, promote transformation, and increase efficiency, the construction machinery industry in our city has formed a new situation of stable and positive development through the implementation of measures such as optimizing structure, transformation and upgrading, strengthening management, and improving efficiency. In the coming period, large-scale construction machinery enterprises in our city should bring their advantageous resources and high-quality products to strengthen cooperation depth and expand cooperation breadth with various enterprises, jointly embrace industry development opportunities and respond to market challenges. 2、 Recognizing the situation, strengthening confidence, and further promoting the supply side structural reform of the construction machinery industryIn recent years, the construction machinery industry in our city has been hovering in a trough, showing signs of recovery since the second half of last year. At the meeting, attendees also expressed the need to recognize the current situation, accurately grasp the country's supply side structural reform, strive to seize the opportunity of this round of construction machinery recovery, adjust product structure, and take enterprises to a new level. Our city's construction machinery is mainly composed of component enterprises. Although there are many enterprises, there is still a big gap in technology compared to well-known domestic and foreign enterprises. However, in the face of difficulties, we cannot be afraid. The more difficult the times, the more we should continuously improve our research and development innovation capabilities. 3、 Intelligent manufacturing has become a trend.At this conference, renowned experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs have all proposed "intelligent manufacturing". Xu Gong Group Chairman Wang Min delivered a keynote speechtimeIt was also mentioned that "intelligent manufacturing is the top priority of XCMG's future technological innovation. Only by improving in intelligent manufacturing can our technology and products quickly and comprehensively adapt to customer needs. Caterpillar（China）Chen Qihua, Chairman of Investment Co., Ltd., stated that "digital technology innovation in the construction machinery industry has been carried out in multiple dimensions, and Caterpillar Intelligence creates more value for customers through digital technology and intelligent services. In recent years, the equipment manufacturing enterprises in our city have also made great efforts in "intelligent manufacturing" and other fields. By improving their product innovation ability, they actively embrace "Internet plus". In the future, facing the outbreak and blowout of the industry, the enterprises in our city's construction machinery industry should make up their own shortcomings as soon as possible and take a solid step in "lean manufacturing - integration of two technologies - intelligent manufacturing". This conference is held in the context of the Chinese construction machinery industry, which has undergone more than five years of deep adjustment and is now showing signs of stabilization, recovery, and growth. Through this meeting, the future development goals of the construction machinery industry have been more clearly defined, and confidence in its development has been established. The future development of the industry will continue to strengthen confidence, overcome difficulties, transform and upgrade, and forge ahead. We must make full use of the current favorable opportunity, deeply implement the "Made in China 2025", further promote the supply side structural reform of the construction machinery industry, build a solid foundation for the sustainable and stable development of the construction machinery industry, and promote the healthy development of the construction machinery industry.
