Under the new situation of in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, today, we held the "2021 Shandong Province Equipment Manufacturing Industry Science and Technology Innovation Award Presentation Conference and Advanced Manufacturing Summit Forum" in Jinan ". Here, on behalf of the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, I would like to extend my warm congratulations to the convening of the conference, my sincere welcome to all the guests, and my heartfelt thanks to friends from all walks of life who have long cared about and supported the development of Shandong's high-end equipment industry!
High-end equipment manufacturing industry is an important symbol to measure the development level and comprehensive competitiveness of a country and region's manufacturing industry. As one of the "top ten industries" that our province focuses on, the provincial party committee and the provincial government attach great importance to the high-end equipment industry, actively integrate resources, gather strength, and solidly promote the realization of high-quality development from large to strong. During the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, the industry Scale benefits have been significantly improved. In 2020, there will be more than 8000 equipment manufacturing enterprises above designated size in the province, achieving a main business income of 2.1 trillion yuan, ranking fourth in the country; of which the high-end equipment manufacturing industry will exceed 1 trillion yuan. A number of major key technologies have achieved breakthroughs. Kangpingna's "complete set of technical equipment for automatic dyeing of cheese yarn", Shengrui transmission "8AT automatic transmission" and Weichai power "heavy commercial vehicle powertrain technology" have won the first prize of national scientific and technological progress. The test run of the 600-kilometer-per-hour high-speed maglev test prototype was successful. Weichai released the world's first 50% thermal efficiency commercial diesel engine, and China Heavy Duty Truck released a new generation of heavy trucks under the "Yellow River" brand. A number of world-leading national heavy equipment such as Asia's largest intelligent luxury ro-ro passenger ship, the world's largest 350000-ton offshore floating production, storage and offloading device (FPSO), and "Deep Blue 1" have been delivered one after another. From January to October this year, the operating income of the equipment manufacturing industry was 1.94 trillion billion yuan, an increase of 14.3 percent over the same period last year, of which the added value of high-end equipment increased by 15 percent over the same period last year, showing the vitality and strong driving force of industrial development.
The just-concluded Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee and the 2021 Central Economic Work Conference summarized our party's century-old struggle and brilliant achievements, pointed out the work direction of seeking progress while maintaining stability, and also clarified the need to accelerate high-quality development. Long-term goal. I hope that the vast number of equipment manufacturing enterprises in the province will put scientific and technological innovation in a more important position, strengthen key core technologies, and achieve high-level scientific and technological self-reliance; deepen the integration of production, education and research, accelerate the transformation of innovation results; improve the talent evaluation mechanism, and strengthen the construction of scientific research talent team. It is necessary to grasp the new trend of scientific and technological innovation and development, take speeding up and leading as the focus of development, achieve obvious economic and social benefits in industrial development, and promote high-quality economic and social development; at the same time, it is also hoped that Shandong equipment Manufacturing Association will continue to play a functional role, do a good job as a bridge between the government and enterprises, and build the Science and Technology Innovation Award into a well-known award in the province's industry. Make new achievements on the road of high-quality development of equipment manufacturing industry, great service country, create a better future!
