Notice on Forwarding the Notice of the China Machinery Industry Federation on Conducting a Special Survey on the Current Situation of Design Innovation in the Machinery Industry

Associations, professional branches, member units, and related equipment manufacturing enterprises (units) in various cities:

Currently, in response to the risks and challenges posed by the global pandemic and severe economic recession, we must effectively implement the overall deployment of "six guarantees" and "six stabilizations" to achieve the annual economic and social development goals, accelerate the breakthrough of development bottlenecks in the machinery industry, enhance independent innovation capabilities, promote transformation and upgrading, and achieve high-quality development. After research, the China Machinery Industry Federation has decided to conduct a special investigation on the innovation of mechanical product design and the current status of industrial design discipline construction in related universities, in accordance with the deployment requirements of the "Special Action Plan for Enhancing Manufacturing Design Capability" by 13 departments including the Ministry of Construction and Information Technology. We hereby forward the Notice on Conducting a Special Survey on the Current Situation of Design Innovation in the Machinery Industry, issued by the Machinery Office [2020] No. 87.
