In response to the call of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to "vigorously promote scientific and technological innovation and vigorously promote the spirit of craftsmanship", we commend exemplary individual who have made outstanding achievements in the scientific and technological progress of the equipment manufacturing industry in our province, encourage the enthusiasm and creativity of scientific and technological workers and skilled workers in the equipment manufacturing industry in the province, and promote the scientific and technological progress and industrial development of the industry. The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association has launched the selection activities for the 2017 Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry's "Outstanding Contribution Award for Scientific and Technological Innovation" and "Craftsman Spirit Inheritance Award".
After independent application by various enterprises and recommendation by local associations, it will be preliminarily reviewed by the selection office, reviewed and evaluated by the expert committee of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, and finally reviewed by the evaluation committee meeting. It has been decided to award the title of "Outstanding Contribution Award for Scientific and Technological Innovation" to 21 comrades including Liu Shuliang (see Annex 1 for the list), and the title of "Craftsman Spirit Inheritance Award" to 13 comrades including Su Hao (see Annex 2 for the list).
