The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will hold the 3rd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (referred to as the Chain Expo) in Beijing from July 16 to 20, 2025. The Chain Expo is the world's first national level exhibition with the theme of supply chain. It adheres to the concept of internationalization, specialization, marketization, and green exhibition, and plays the role of four platforms: trade promotion, investment cooperation, innovation gathering, and learning exchange. It promotes the connection between upstream, midstream, and downstream, the integration of large, medium, and small enterprises, the collaboration between industry, academia, research, and application, and the interaction between Chinese and foreign enterprises. It is committed to deepening international cooperation in industrial chain and supply chain, and maintaining the stability and smoothness of global industrial chain and supply chain.

The second Chain Expo was successfully held in Beijing from November 26 to 30, 2024, achieving remarkable achievements that have attracted worldwide attention. Premier Li Qiang had a discussion with representatives of participating companies at the 2nd Chain Expo, Vice Chairman Han Zheng attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, and Vice Premier He Lifeng met with foreign visiting delegations to China for the Chain Expo. 620 Chinese and foreign enterprises from 69 countries, regions, and international organizations, along with over 400 upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain, participated in the exhibition together. During the exhibition, over 200000 people visited and participated. Exhibitors have established cooperative relationships with 37000 upstream and downstream suppliers, and have met 18000 important target customers. A total of 69 themed events and over 370 docking and negotiation activities were held, with more than 210 cooperation agreements and intention agreements signed, involving a total amount of over 152 billion yuan.

The third Chain Expo, with the theme of "Connecting the World, Creating a Shared Future", will continue to set up six major chain and supply chain service exhibition areas, including advanced manufacturing chain, digital technology chain, intelligent automobile chain, clean energy chain, healthy life chain, and green agriculture chain. It will vertically showcase advanced concepts, products, and technologies in the upstream, midstream, and downstream of related industrial chains, and horizontally showcase supporting services such as finance and insurance, logistics and distribution, business consulting, and law. During the Chain Expo, there will be an opening ceremony and activities such as enterprise dialogues, achievement releases, industry seminars, and matchmaking negotiations. At that time, the Shandong Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade will continue to organize groups to participate in exhibitions and conferences.
