6Exhibition Introduction:
The International Machine Tool and Tool Show (IMTEX&TOOLTECH) is a large-scale international professional exhibition organized by the Indian Machine Tool and Tool Manufacturers Association (IMDMA). It is held every three years in Bangalore, India and has a history of over 40 years. This exhibition is one of the largest professional machine tool exhibitions in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
In recent years, due to the huge demand in the Indian machine tool market, the Indian Machine Tool Association has decided to divide the exhibition into two main themes starting from 2009: metal cutting machine tools and tools (IMTEX metalCUTING&TOOLTECH) and forming machine tools and tools (IMTEX-FORMING&TOOLTECH). The exhibition has been changed from being held once every three years to once a year, with the two themes being exhibited separately every other year. The odd year theme is metal cutting machine tools and tools, and the even year theme is forming machine tools and tools.
The theme of this exhibition is molding machines and tools, and the exhibits mainly include four parts: metal molding, plastic molding, other material molding (such as ceramics, composite materials, etc.), and tool accessories. The audience will come from the automotive, defense, aerospace, railway, household appliances, electrical and electronics, printing machinery, textile machinery, food processing equipment, industrial machinery, agricultural machinery, plastic products, computer peripherals, water pumps, diesel engines, and other related industries.
