Gears, as the core transmission components of mechanical equipment, have high precision, reliability, and large load capacity. They are widely used in fields such as vehicle manufacturing, metallurgy, aviation, and power. With the rapid development of the automotive industry, the performance requirements for gears are also increasing, and their quality directly affects the overall quality of the vehicle. On August 12th, Wang Qun, Deputy Secretary General of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association, and his delegation visited a company mainly engaged in the production of automotive axle helical gearsQingzhou Jianfu Gear Co., Ltd(hereinafter referred to as "Jianfu Gear") Visit and exchange ideas to understand the development of the enterprise.
As a national level specialized and innovative "little giant" and provincial-level single item champion enterprise, Jianfu Gear covers an area of 200 acres and has a construction area of 72000 square meters. It is located in the Economic Development Zone of Qingzhou City, Shandong Province, with fixed assets of 410 million yuan and more than 400 employees. Its products cover heavy-duty truck engineering vehicle series, heavy-duty truck highway vehicle series, medium load truck series, light truck series, and agricultural machinery tractor series, with an annual output of 2 million sets of various gears. Its production and sales volume ranks among the top in the same industry in China, and it occupies a leading position in the subdivision field of automotive spiral bevel gears.
The global transformation towards electrification and automation is reshaping the demand for transmission system components. Heavy trucks and off-road machinery have an increasing demand for robust, high torque ring gears and small gear solutions. The manufacturing of gears requires precise processes and fine control, and the production process involves complex production processes such as forging, cutting, heat treatment, and surface treatment. The breakthrough from 20 microns to 5 microns includes the ultimate pursuit of each process. Since its establishment in 1990, Jianfu Gear has grown from a traditional workshop to an industry benchmark in mastering core technologies, with a provincial-level industrial design center, 70 patents, and 21 software copyrights. It is an irreplaceable leader for well-known domestic enterprises such as China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, China FAW, Sany Heavy Industry, and Pangu Power. The supplier has a domestic market share of up to 70%.

Entering its modern production workshop, a full process intelligent manufacturing system consisting of over 660 precision machining equipment, 10 German Klineberg C50 and other high tooth production lines, 36 American Gleason gear production lines, and 8 Austrian Aixie Lin fully automatic continuous heat treatment production lines is operating at high speed. The core requirements of modern electric vehicles are low noise, low vibration, and low noise harshness (NVH) performance. Based on the industry noise standard of no more than 85 decibels, Jianfu Gear self pressurizes with stricter standards, accurately controlling the gear operation noise within 80 decibels. This value is nearly half lower than traditional gears, demonstrating precise technical processes in silent areas.
New energy vehicles have much higher requirements for precision, noise reduction, and transmission efficiency than traditional gears. Jianfu Gear has invested heavily in introducing advanced equipment from top international companies such as Switzerland's Laishauer and Germany's Klinberg to create a new energy vehicle gear production base. Currently, it has achieved a daily production capacity of 1000 new energy gears, accounting for 5% of the company's total output value and becoming a new growth engine.
After the visit, Wang Qun pointed out that Jianfu Gear focuses on improving gear accuracy and breakthroughs in new energy technology, setting an example for the industry with the development model of "technology+capital+ecology". The "small gear" rotates the "big world", injecting new development momentum into the collaborative innovation of Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry.
