Recently, the Department of Civil Affairs of Shandong Province released a notice announcing the results of the 2019 provincial evaluation of social organizations. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs' "Management Measures for Social Organization Evaluation" (Order No. 39 of 2010) and the "Notice of the Department of Civil Affairs of Shandong Province on Carrying out the Fourth Batch of Provincial Evaluation of Social Organizations", the evaluation level was finally determined through various screening procedures, including self-evaluation by social organizations, preliminary evaluation by third-party evaluation agencies, approval by the evaluation committee, public announcement, and review. The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association has been awarded the highest evaluation level -5A level!
Social organization evaluation refers to the objective and comprehensive evaluation of social organizations by civil affairs departments at all levels of the people's government, in accordance with standardized methods and procedures, in order to implement their supervisory and management responsibilities for social organizations in accordance with the law, promote the healthy development of social organizations, and make evaluation level conclusions based on evaluation standards.
The level of social organizations is the evaluation standard for social organizations in the "Management Measures for Social Organization Evaluation" issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. There are five levels for social organization evaluation, and social organizations with an evaluation level of 4A or above can simplify the annual inspection procedure. Social organizations with an evaluation level of 3A or above can be given priority in accepting government function transfers, obtaining government purchased services, and receiving government rewards. According to relevant regulations, a 5A level social organization will receive convenience or priority in areas such as annual inspections and government procurement services in the future.
