The China (Zibo) Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Development Forum has achieved complete success
On the afternoon of September 2, 2019, the "China (Zibo) Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Industry Development Forum" with the theme of "Intelligence+Empowering the Transformation and Upgrading of Equipment Manufacturing Industry" was successfully held in the International Hall of Qisheng International Hotel. Yang Hongtao, member of the Standing Committee of Zibo Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor, Zong Zhijian, Deputy Secretary General and Office Director of Zibo Municipal Government, Yu Xiudong, Director of Zibo Science and Technology Bureau, Zang Jinqiang, Researcher of Zibo Science and Technology Bureau, and leaders of relevant departments in Zibo City; Nearly 220 people attended the conference, including Zhang Dan, academician of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of the Robotics Research Center, Bao Jihua, professor at Shandong University of Science and Technology, Gao Ling, chairman of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, Bu Hongfu, supervisor, Zhang Yingming, vice chairman, Han Huaisheng, Li Yongkun, chairman of the Forging Branch of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, Xiao Hanbing, secretary general of the Hydraulic Branch, as well as representatives of Shandong equipment manufacturing industry enterprises and media from all walks of life. The conference was chaired by Han Huaisheng, Vice President of the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association.

The conference began with speeches from Gao Ling, President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, and Yang Hongtao, Standing Committee Member and Deputy Mayor of Zibo Municipal Committee.
Yang Hongtao pointed out that in recent years, our city has grasped the trend of industrial development and listed intelligent equipment manufacturing as one of the "top four" industries for key development in the city. We are striving to build an intelligent equipment industry system that integrates design, research and development, manufacturing, and service, with the goal of reaching a scale of 70 billion yuan in the city's intelligent equipment industry by 2021. The experts and scholars of this forum will bring scientific concepts, cutting-edge technologies, advanced products, and innovative models to our city, which will undoubtedly play an important role in promoting the innovative development of our high-end equipment manufacturing industry and injecting strong impetus into the high-quality development of our city's economy.
President Gao Ling mentioned in her speech that Shandong is a major province in the equipment manufacturing industry, with obvious advantages in characteristic industries. High end equipment is developing rapidly, and emerging equipment industries such as intelligent manufacturing equipment have become new growth points driving the province's economic development. As an industry service platform, the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association shoulders the responsibility and mission of "leading the scientific development of the industry and guiding the healthy growth of enterprises". It continuously links domestic and foreign industry resources, leverages the advantages and roles of "big platforms" and "big think tanks", and does great things that "enterprises want to do, the market needs to do, and the government is prepared to do". It actively serves the industry, enterprise transformation and upgrading, technological innovation, integration of information and technology, intelligent manufacturing, and kinetic energy conversion.
At this forum, Academician Zhang Dan of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, Professor Bao Jihua of Shandong University of Science and Technology, Assistant to the President of AiBorui Group Lin Shike, and Deputy General Manager Yao Chunyu of Donghao Lansheng Group Shanghai Industrial Business Exhibition Co., Ltd. gave wonderful reports on different fields such as intelligent manufacturing, robot system design, product value chain, lean management, and intelligent interconnection.
