A delegation from the Provincial Equipment Association visited and inspected the Qilu Innovation Valley
On the afternoon of July 23rd, Su Hongxing, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Equipment Association, Zhang Zhanguo, Deputy Minister of Foreign Exchange, and He Yang, Editor of the Propaganda Department website, led a delegation to visit and inspect Innovation Valley.
Accompanied by Shi Gongcheng, Minister of Industrial Development of Qilu Innovation Valley, and others, the Provincial Equipment Association visited the exhibition hall of Qilu Innovation Valley Construction Plan. During the visit, Su Hongxing, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Equipment Association, and Minister Shi of Qilu Innovation Valley exchanged views on the future construction plan, development advantages, development prospects, and entry policies of the Innovation Valley.
During the exchange, Minister Shi mentioned that Innovation Valley is an important development carrier for the "westward expansion" strategy in Jinan's urban development strategy of "expanding to the east, advancing to the west, controlling to the south, crossing to the north, and expanding to the center". The park relies on a university park with a total planned area of 70 square kilometers, an industrial core area of 20 square kilometers, 900 hectares of planned construction land, 40% industrial land, 40% commercial and residential land, and 20% public supporting land. We will focus on developing seven major industries, including high-end research and development, achievement transformation, embedded systems, cloud computing and the Internet of Things, information services, headquarters bases, financial services, etc.
Qilu Innovation Valley fully leverages its development advantages such as transportation, talent, cost, supporting facilities, and environmental advantages. The carriers of Qilu Innovation Valley can be divided into three categories: incubators, accelerators, and professional parks. The key points of investment promotion can be summarized as "inheriting from the top, initiating from the bottom, and spontaneously". 'Chengshang' refers to the transfer of industries from economically developed regions such as Beijing and Shanghai; 'Qixia' refers to the urgent need for research and development in the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and the improvement of quality and efficiency in the province under the 'new normal'; Spontaneous "refers to gathering and responding to the national call for" mass entrepreneurship and innovation ", and increasing support for local innovative forces to start businesses.
The goal of Qilu Innovation Valley is to build an internationally leading fourth generation science and technology park that integrates work, life, and leisure, and to initially establish a "natural, ecological, and modern" smart new city. It will become an important growth pole supporting the rise of Jinan's western new area, an important source of strategic emerging industries in Jinan, and a driving force for the upgrading and transformation of urban agglomeration industries.
After visiting the exhibition hall, the delegation of the Provincial Equipment Association, accompanied by Minister Shi and others, also conducted on-site inspections and exchange discussions.
