The 27th China Western International Equipment Manufacturing Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Western Expo") with the theme of "high-quality industrial development" will be held grandly at the Qujiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in Xi'an from March 14-17. In order to actively promote the transformation of new and old kinetic energy in our province, firmly seize the opportunity of the "the Belt and Road" construction, actively promote the work deployment of "double recruiting and double guiding" in Shandong Province, accelerate the economic and technological cooperation between the equipment manufacturing industry in our province and the western region, expand the influence of "Made in Shandong" and "Good Shandong" in the western market, and build a good platform for Shandong enterprises to enter the western market and participate in the "the Belt and Road" construction, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province organized enterprises to participate in this Expo, and set up a "main image exhibition area of Shandong", with an exhibition area of 1500 square meters. This event is specifically organized by the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and presents four main features: firstly, it highlights the new achievements in the transformation of old and new driving forces and high-quality development of Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry. Through playing promotional videos, exhibition boards, special equipment and other forms, it comprehensively introduces the basic situation of Shandong's equipment manufacturing industry and major measures for the transformation of old and new driving forces and high-quality development, and promotes the implementation of the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping's inspection of Shandong. The second is to highlight the theme of "cooperation, openness, and win-win", and highlight the "good quality Shandong". 为了扩大企业产品宣传，在展会A管山东主形象展区，设置了推介区域，共有10余家企业进行了50场次的产品推介。山东镭鸣数控激光、天辰机器集团、奥图自动化等省内装备企业纷纷推出了各自的新产品、新技术，其中多项技术处于行业领先水平。
为体现好客山东的形象，这次参展由艺术学院的演奏团，现场小提琴演奏了《我和我的祖国》、《新疆之春》，琵琶、笛子和二胡合奏了《沂蒙颂》、《琵琶语》等曲目，提升山东整体形象，获得了观众的纷纷赞誉。
山东省装备制造业协会秘书长陶俊义在接受记者采访时表示：这次组团参展很大程度上推动了山东与西部的合作，让山东装备制造业企业的技术和产品走进西部，开拓市场，同时引导西部先进的技术和先进的企业到山东投资创业。在今后的工作中，省装备制造业协会将积极协助政府部门推进落实省委省政府“双招双引”和“高水平对外开放”的工作部署，推进东西部经济技术合作，搭建平台和桥梁，推进务实合作。
