Open Integration and Collaborative Development - Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association Participated in the First China International Import Expo
The first China International Import Expo was held from November 5th to 10th at the China National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai. Gao Ling, President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, and her delegation participated in this expo as members of the Industry and Information Technology Department branch of Shandong Provincial Trading Group.
The China International Import Expo is currently the world's first national exhibition with an import theme, providing an open, interconnected, and cooperative platform for the world. It is a major measure taken by the Chinese government to firmly support trade liberalization and economic globalization, and actively open its market to the world. It is conducive to promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation among countries around the world, promoting global trade and economic growth, and advancing the development of an open world economy. This expo has set up a national trade fairYi Investment Comprehensive Exhibition Area, Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances Exhibition Area, Clothing and Apparel and Daily Consumer Goods Exhibition Area, Automotive Exhibition Area, Intelligent and High end Equipment Exhibition Area, FoodEight exhibition areas, including the Product and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area, Medical Equipment and Healthcare Exhibition Area, and Service Trade Exhibition Area, with a booth area of 270000 square meters, have attracted over 3600 companies from more than 172 countries and regions to confirm their participation, including more than 200 Fortune 500 companies.
博览会期间，高玲会长指出，进口博览会是我们装备制造业企业走出去、引进来和创新发展的重要机遇，我们协会要以“协同创新、产业共生、破界思维、跨界融合”的理念，走进装备制造产业上中下游的各个展区，全面了解全球装备制造业的发展现状、趋势以及未来全球经济发展方向，通过交流沟通与合作，链接国际装备制造业企业、行业协会、商会以及专家学者等国际资源，积极为山东省装备制造行业、企业的高质量发展助力。
President Gao Ling and her delegation visited various exhibition areas including intelligent and high-end equipment, automobiles, electronics, service trade, medical machinery, etc. They mainly visited and exchanged ideas from the aspects of industrial interconnection, intelligent manufacturing, high-end equipment, emerging technologies, creative design, and service platforms. During this period, President Gao Ling and her delegation had in-depth exchanges with leaders from companies such as ABB, Panasonic, Mitsubishi New Materials, Nachi Fujitsu, Fanuc, Waldrichkopf Machine Tool, and Taiwan Shangyin Company to gain a detailed understanding of the exhibits and the development of the companies.
By participating in this expo, the Provincial Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association has established contacts with more than ten industry organizations and service institutions, including the Malaysia External Trade Development Bureau, the Korea Trade Association, the Ukrainian Agricultural Union, the Malawi Investment and Trade Center, the Guyana National Investment Office, the Togo Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore Chamber of Commerce, the Malaysia China General Chamber of Commerce, and the Russian Export Center. Among them, the Guyana National Investment Office, the Togo Chamber of Commerce, and the Malaysia China General Chamber of Commerce hope to establish a long-term mechanism of mutual exchange, resource sharing, and cooperation and exchange with the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association in terms of technology, talent, and market, in order to achieve common development.
这次参加进博会，高玲会长一行感触良多，收获很大。通过此次博览会协会进一步了解了全球装备制造行业最新的技术及国外行业的发展趋势和新型业务模式，为行业、企业发展寻找方向和潜在共赢合作机会。高会长最后提到，进博会是一个“开放融合 协同发展”的国际大平台，这仅仅是开始，今后我们协会要通过该平台不断加强与参展的60余家国际行业协会、商会的联系、对接和交流，链接更多、更广的资源，同时做好总结和思考，为明年更好的组织企业切实利用好进博会这一平台，为我们山东装备制造行业、企业的发展和新旧动能转换服务。
