Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association participated in the 2018 National Machinery Industry Province (District, City) Industry Association Work Symposium

2018On September 5-6, 2018, the 2018 National Machinery Industry Association Work Symposium was held in Beijing. Wang Ruixiang, President of the China Machinery Industry Federation, Yu Qingji, Executive Vice President, Zhao Chi, Executive Vice President and Secretary General, as well as the main leaders of 21 provincial and municipal machinery industry federations and associations across the country, attended the conference. Guo Jinming, Chairman of Shandong Institute of Economy and Information Technology, and Gao Ling, President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Association, attended the event. The entire conference was chaired by Yu Qingji, Executive Vice President of the China Machinery Industry Federation.

At this conference, President Wang Ruixiang delivered important speeches from three aspects: the development of the machinery industry, the situation related to the China US trade friction, and the current focus of work. President Wang Ruixiang introduced the work of the China Machine Federation this year and the reform of the Association, made in-depth analysis and systematic arrangements for the current economic operation of the entire machinery industry, the situation facing it and the current priorities, issued a notice on the selection of advanced collectives, model worker and exemplary individual in the machinery industry in 2018, and required all provinces and cities across the country to actively recommend and apply in strict accordance with the review requirements.

During the conference, industry associations from various provinces (regions, cities) across the country exchanged information on the economic operation, promotion of transformation and upgrading, and the work of associations in each province and city, as well as the existing problems and next steps of work arrangements. Gao Ling, the President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, reported and exchanged views on the construction of the association system, the current new development model of the association, the new content of services, the joint construction of resource platforms, the important role played in the transformation of old and new driving forces, as well as the next steps of work ideas and suggestions to the conference.

President Gao Ling finally expressed that as a social organization serving the development of the service industry and enterprises, the Provincial Equipment Association deeply feels that the more work it does and the wider its service content, the greater the pressure it feels in the process of carrying out its work. The development prospects of the Provincial Equipment Association are very promising. We are willing to work diligently and implement every task with the guidance and support of departments such as the China Machinery Industry Federation and local economic and information commissions
