At the founding conference and first session of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association
Speech at the General Meeting of Members
——Gao Ling, President of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association
Dear leaders, guests, and entrepreneurs of Weihai City
Good morning everyone!
At an important moment when the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government are fully implementing and carrying out the major project of transforming old and new driving forces, and realizing the overall ideas and development layout of "leading the way", "transforming from big to strong", and "comprehensively seeking strength" determined by the province, today, the Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association is officially and grandly established! This is an important strategic decision for Weihai City to accelerate the transformation of old and new driving forces in the equipment manufacturing industry. On behalf of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, I would like to extend warm congratulations to the establishment of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association and the newly elected president, vice president, secretary-general, and directors!
Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association is the first prefecture level equipment manufacturing industry association established after Secretary Liu Jiayi of the Provincial Party Committee delivered a speech at the mobilization conference for the comprehensive implementation of the major project of new and old kinetic energy transformation in the province. It is also the first prefecture level equipment manufacturing industry association established after the establishment of Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association. The establishment of Weihai Association plays an important leading role in the equipment manufacturing industry in the province, and is also an important milestone in the development history of Weihai's equipment manufacturing industry. In the process of establishing the Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, the initiating unit Shandong Datian Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. persevered and worked hard. The Weihai Municipal Party Committee and Government attached great importance to it, and the Municipal Economic and Information Commission and Civil Affairs Bureau provided strong support. The backbone enterprises in the Weihai equipment manufacturing industry actively cooperated. On behalf of the Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you!
Manufacturing is the fundamental industry of the national economy, and equipment manufacturing, especially the driving force of industrialization and modernization, is a pillar industry that represents a country's strength. The Shandong Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association is the first comprehensive and provincial-level industry association in the province to operate under a market-oriented mode. We always adhere to the development principles of consultation, co construction, sharing, and win-win, and strive to build the industry association into an innovative platform, a service platform, an open platform, and a cooperation platform. The establishment of Weihai Equipment Manufacturing Industry Association provides a broad platform for entrepreneurs in the industry to communicate, exchange information, and integrate development. The association will play an important role in guiding industry development, consolidating industry strength, tapping industry potential, and cultivating new driving forces for industry development. I hope that the Weihai Association will always remember and fulfill its responsibilities in its future work, continuously innovate service models, and strengthen the association's self-discipline; By promoting mutual learning, communication, and cooperation among enterprises, enhancing the comprehensive quality of entrepreneurs and strengthening their self-development capabilities; To act as a bridge and link between the government and enterprises, accurately and timely reflecting the demands of enterprises, safeguarding their legitimate rights and interests, and leading the rapid growth and high-quality development of enterprises; It is necessary to closely focus on the overall strategic deployment of the municipal party committee and government, timely disseminate the government's voice, fully play the role of the association's staff assistant, and fully integrate into the strategic planning of the implementation of the major project of new and old kinetic energy transformation in the province, achieve the transformation of the development momentum of the city's equipment manufacturing industry, prosper the local economy, dare to take responsibility and be brave to contribute!
